Anil C Verghese - Artist

Based in Dubai, Anil rediscovered his childhood joy of fine art and connected with creativity at a time when the world shifted pace because of the pandemic.
Drawing from his Indian heritage and experiences of living in South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, as well as travels to over 30 countries, Anil works mainly in watercolour to pictorially depict images and thoughts that have touched him. He finds his artistic inspiration in the ordinary and turns to the canvas when he wants to share a strong emotional response to a personal experience. He paints for himself but finds joy in sharing his work with those around him.
Anil’s style of work is realistic, figurative and metaphor-based.
